Brooks is long known as one of the most recognizable names in cycling. The B17s is the sibling of the most iconic saddle of all time, the B17. The 'S' in Brooks B17s stands for 'Short.' This saddle is often recommended to women and other smaller riders for improved comfort in a variety of contexts. We like leather saddles due to their supple nature, for how they conform to your specific anatomy, and because the durability and aesthetic is fantastic. That being said, a leather saddle is not a 'set it and forget it,' kind of option. You will need a rain (and sweat!) cover as well as to condition and tension your saddle occasionally. It's ok not to know how to do these things at first and we are always happy to coach you through the process.
