We don't recommend XTR, the pinnacle of Shimano's mountain racing technology, super often but when it comes to SPD pedals, they're our top choice. About half of the staff ride these pedals because they are durable, light, and have by far the most elegant aesthetic, maybe of any clipless pedal on the market. XTR pedals use a titanium spindle and ultra-hardened bearing races for added longevity and less frequent service. These pedals are a worthwhile upgrade to anyone looking to make a meaningful addition to their setup we thinks!
