For those who not only need great protection from theft but also the smallest possible package we recommend the Abus Ultra Mini + Cobra Cable lock set. Think of this as the more affordable Abus Granit 640 (which is pretty much the entire staff's preferred lock.) If you're not in it for the $170 Granit 640 get this instead. This lock features strong, reliable, German construction and comes with an additional cable. Use the Cobra Cable to thread through your front wheel or through the rails of your saddle in high theft areas and leave it at home when you're out on a long ride or other low-risk outing.
