"The ultimate cyclocross tire is also a great choice for mixed-surface rides. Named after an iconic ‘cross course at the foot of the Cascade Mountains, the Steilacoom uses our revolutionary dual-purpose knobby tread. The tire is always supported by the same amount of rubber, whether it’s rolling forward or leaning into a turn. This gives you uniform grip at all times – whether on a muddy cyclocross course or during a paved descent with ultra-fast hairpin turns. The result is a true dual-purpose knobby that excels in mud and snow, yet on pavement, it’s faster than most road tires."

All the Rene Herse tires we stock here at the Outpost come in 3 or 4 different casings. Choose the Standard for a high-quality baseline, Extralight for the fastest and most comfortable tire possible, Endurance for additional sidewall protection, and Endurance Plus for when you need the ultimate in reassurance and are far in the backcountry. 

**When it comes to colours, Standard is tan sidewall only, Endurance and Endurance Plus is dark tan only, and Extralight comes in black or tan.**

We offer hassle-free returns and exchanges on virtually all products* within 15 days after receiving order. Products must be unused and with their packaging for a refund. Unused products without packaging are eligible for exchange only. Items that have been installed/used/worn are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
