Fargo is our preferred backcountry exploration bike. We really think about Fargo as a 'drop bar mountain bike,' as opposed to a gravel bike. This is about as burly as it gets with drop bars! Fargo comes stock with 29 x 2.2" tires and big flared Salsa Woodchipper bars for extra flotation and leverage for technical or sloppy rides. Fargo comes with Salsas 'Alternator' dropout system which enables you to run a wide variety of rear spacing and hub and chainline compatibilities including singlespeed and internal gear hub options for those who prefer those systems!
