Shimano Optislick cables feature a minimal and uniform electrically coated layer that improves cable routing efficiency and provides excellent corrosion resistance. At Kissing Crows we recommend Optislick cables for all modern Shimano road drivetrains from Claris R2000 up to 105 R8000. For mountain drivetrains we recommend Optislick cables from Deore M4100 up to XT M8100. If you run an Ultegra, Dura Ace or XTR drivetrain we recommend Shimano Polymer cables.
