Surly Straggler 2.1 Cues, Shaggy Carpet

The new, redesigned Surly Straggler is here, and it’s ready to go wherever you do! If you’re commuting, exploring new trails, or just enjoying a ride, the Straggler can adapt to fit your style. It’s not a racer, and it’s not a big-tire monster—it sits right in the sweet spot in between. 

Made from Surly’s Natch 4130 Chromoly steel with a double-butted triangle, the Straggler is strong, comfortable, and built to last. The steel fork features clean brazed lugs and an updated thru-axle dropout for improved handling.

The Straggler works with 700c or 650b wheels. Without fenders, it has 50mm of tire clearance (a bit more with 650b). You can adapt your tire width to whatever purpose you commit your Straggler to. 

Other modern touches on the new Straggler include flat-mount brakes, internal dropper routing, and a 44mm head tube.

The Straggler has mounts for racks, fenders, two bottle cages, and even a three-pack cage, making it a versatile companion for commuting, touring, or just everyday adventures.

This version of the Straggler 2.1 comes in Shaggy Carpet and with a Shimano Cues 1x11 drivetrain.
